My character's name is Selena and she's a norm stalker. So she's suppose to be stealthy and fast, so I designed her armor to be minimal for her to be flexible and fast in battle. And in DW we are required to give our characters magical weapons. My characters weapons are two sabers that are powered from a magical gem attached to her back. Also for her to attack varying foes she can change blade types by insirting a different rune into the handeles of her sabers. The spare runes are kept on to her hips for quick access.

(don't dock me too bad on the back pose in the modeling sheet, I know the anatomy is off. and that i changed the color scheme of the armor a little from the this sheet to the final illustration.)

Tyler yoyoyoyoyo I you owe some money don't let me forget! haha
anyways this stuff for dominance war looks hot, makes me wanna give it a go next time. My personal knowledge of vector art isn't as advanced as yours so there wont be any crits about aesthetic from me.
Crit!
Your first board is pretty weak and The RonTard would agree with me that there is too much clutter on that board and it doesn't communicate well. The weapons should be on a seperate board as well as the action poses. This board reads more as a concept development board for the main character which is nice BTW.
The second board is nice.. very good drawing and i agree with den on cleaning up edges and the outlines are a bit inconsistent between the back pose and the rest. I would suggest that you add just a bit of some shadows to show form, as a modeler would have a tough time distinguishing some of the more complicated forms. (don't listen to Machine56 and his vomitty flatness)
The Third board is nice; the main character is nicely posed and positioned in the composition. however, i am expecting more from you in terms of dynamics, the main figure is nice but the robots are a bit static. Maybe it's the horizon line, if it were more on a diagonal and the composition was more of an "X" that would probably help with adding some more dynamism. But it seems you guys had strict guidelines to follow for the competition. I'm not sure your background color was the best choice to pop the main figure, since it is so strong i would have found the best color to really pop out that main figure. I would suggest, in the future, to do more concept studies of silhouetted designs (value) and color variations for your character. It seems you are more excited about the finished piece and the first two boards were like "work" for you. When i look at the njoo guy you can really tell that he is enjoying the process more than just the finished piece, and that ma'friend is what concept design is all about!
Great work here i expect more from you this summer! lets chill aight?!?!?!
:)
I'm gonna write another reply that's longer than Jair
