Concept art

Finalized

Update: I decided to really tackle the clothing instead of sort of fudging it. Tried to think of the forms more basically. Something about the head feels off.

Shit, just realized that I left the hands out.

Here's another concept art piece. Crits would be great

that close up is sick! love the dark black lips and fabric

the lower half doesnt quite correspond with the dark badass aspect of the top

an armored head needs some bits of armor elsewhere (kneepads?)

and her arm is kinda weird. (well, wassup with the hands?)

give her a weapon. A shield w/ no weapon is awkward

Good to see you doing CA! The painting technique is top notch

nice looking piece good color lighting and overall silhouette...

but there are some apparent anatomy issues particularly with the shoulders and how deltoid attaches at her breast area rather than at her shoulders were they should be... that shield type thing is creating a tangent against her head and its decapitating her... create some depth between the shield and her neck...

i would suggest sketching out the anatomy underneath the costume rather than using the costume as a cop-out for these issues...

keep do'in it!

Yeah man, both your CA pieces look pretty nice. Your painting skills definately showing through here. I agree with everything said above, the anatomy especially feels a little muddy. The feet/ankles look a little strange to me too.

Good stuff though. I especially like the helmet and the face.
