Good stuff. I'd say lose the outlines around the hand. The outline is kind of lost in the darkness of the rest of the figure, and the outlines around the hand just seem to flatten it out a bit.
Other than that, nice paint. Feels very solid. If anything, I'd say you could maybe push the design a bit more. Feels like a standard pirate, which may or may not be what you were going for.
